Notes
  • An action note search includes any local holdings records (LHRs) attached to bibliographic records. Browsing does not include LHRs. See more about finding LHRs using the Connexion browser.
  • If you combine an io: search using Boolean operators with a search in another index that also covers LHRs, both bibliographic records and LHRs are also searched for in the other index.
  • If an action note search retrieves a bibliographic record that does not itself match the search criteria, it is likely that the record was retrieved because it has an attached LHR that does match.
  • Scan an index from the Command Line Search by entering the Scan command (sca), the index label with appropriate punctuation, and the term, and then clicking Search (example: sca io:digital master). For more information, see Browse (scan an index).
  • Only bibliographic records are searched. No LHR data is included when searching from this interface.
