What is meant by the term availability in WorldCat Discovery?

Answer

WorldCat Discovery interoperates with a library Integrated Library System (ILS) to tell users where physical items are located and whether they are available for use. Search results display call number and library location (e.g. Video collection, Reference, Library stacks) to tell users the physical location of an item in a library.  Results also indicate whether an item is in circulation or is available for use, based on circulation information in a library’s ILS. WorldCat Discovery availability is available for libraries with a Premium WorldCat Discovery subscription.
