The links in Discovery for a title we own are leading to an error message at the supplier’s site. However, when I click on the website links in Collection Manager I have no problem accessing the resource. Why is this happening?

Symptom
  •  When I click on the links out from Discovery for a title we own (various volumes) I am  led to an error message at the supplier’s site.  However, when I click on the website links in Collection Manager I have no problem accessing the resource.

Resolution

Inside your WorldShare Collection Manager you don't have "Knowledge Base Full Text Article Coverage" turned on to "Use Coverage to Determine Holdings"

  1. Navigate to: Collection Manager> Settings> WorldCat Discovery 
  2. Under "Knowledge Base full text article coverage", Select "Yes" 
  3. Click "save"
