I'm unable to download a PDF from Discovery
Symptom
- Using the Google Chrome browser, you are clicking a View PDF button on a Discovery record but the file doesn't download

Resolution
This is caused by a default setting in Google Chrome. View PDF links are from third party integrations like LibKey and Unpaywall. Due to the data being from a third party, it is not something we are able to resolve internally. We recommend the following as workarounds:
- Trying a different browser (like Firefox)
- Right-click on the PDF button and select "Copy Link Address".
- Right-click on the PDF button and select "Save as" and download the file
- Update your Chrome settings to allow Discovery to download insecure content. To change your browser settings, you may need to contact your local IT department or review your browser's support pages.
