A search in WorldCat Discovery results in an error stating "There was an error while displaying your record."

Symptom

• When performing a search in WorldCat Discovery the results give an error stating, "There was an error while displaying your record."
• When performing a search in WorldCat Discovery the results give an error stating, "Try your search again, use different search terms, or go back to select different filtering criteria."

Resolution

Check to see if WorldCat.org has been selected as a database for your institution's Metasearch content in the service configuration.

Please contact OCLC Support with the following: 

• Replication steps to perform the search
• The URL of the end search that resulted in the error
