Fines/Fees Screen

The Fines screen has a new layout that displays outstanding fines inline, directly within the screen.

Benefits

  • Your users can see all outstanding fines at a glance without navigating to a separate view.
  • When a payment option is available, your users can tap a Pay Fines button on their My Account screen.
  • Your users can tap the account avatar in the upper right corner to seamlessly switch between any saved library accounts directly from the screen.

Wise Libraries can now configure an "Available Now" Filter

Libraries using the Wise ILS can now enable an "Available Now" search filter, giving patrons a way to narrow search results to items that are currently available.

Benefits

  • Your patrons can filter search results to show only items available for immediate checkout.

Configuration

  • To enable the "Available Now" filter, please contact OCLC support.

Recurring Events Now Display Full Date Ranges (Communico)

Events sourced from Communico that span multiple days now display both their start and end dates in the app.

Benefits

  • Your users can immediately see the full duration of multi-day events, making it easier to plan attendance.

Impact

  • Multi-day Communico events previously showed only the start date, causing confusion for your users when the date displayed was in the past; they now display the complete date range.

Bug fixes

Wise ILS Hold Status Codes Displaying to Patrons

Your users now see clear, readable hold status labels — such as "Ready for pickup," "In process," and "Paused" — throughout the app. Previously, system status codes such as MESSAGE_SENT, ACTIVE, and SUSPENDED were shown to patrons instead of user-friendly labels.

What's coming next

The following section highlights our target roadmap. Screenshots shown are concepts intended to illustrate direction and may change as we continue development.

Late Summer / Fall 2026

  • Image Preview Configurable Bottom Navigation
We're introducing a modernized bottom navigation experience that gives libraries greater flexibility and control over the mobile app. Prior to the new navigation becoming available to patrons, libraries will have an opportunity to review and configure their navigation settings within the Staff Dashboard. This update provides a streamlined, modern experience while allowing each library to tailor navigation options to best meet the needs of its users. Once the transition period concludes, the new bottom navigation will be enabled and reflected in the mobile app during one of our regular releases.
